*Notes*

There’s a FabFilter – Pro-L & Pro-Q 2 on the master that I can’t
freeze, so basically if you don’t have that, the track will just be
a little quieter, less bassy & less bright, feel free to use Live’s
native limiter & EQ to pseudo-master this if you feel the need!

Everything otherwise should run as expected! All is frozen,
collected & saved 🙂

There’s a FabFilter – Pro-L on the master that I can’t freeze, so
basically if you don’t have that, the track will just be a
little quieter, feel free to use Live’s native limiter to
pseudo-master this if you feel the need!

On return channel F there’s an isntance of Guitar Rig I couldn’t
freeze, however, it’s not doing much, it’s just adding a tiny bit
of “air” to the vocals, without it the track sounds just fine 😉

*Notes*

There’s a FabFilter – Pro L on the master channel I couldn’t
freeze, but it’s just doing some basic limiting, so just put any
limiter on really to achieve the same effect.

Everything else should work as normal!

*Notes*

There’s a FabFilter – Pro-L & Pro Q-2 on the master that I can’t
freeze, so basically if you don’t have that, the track will just
be a little quieter & less balanced, feel free to recreate
brightness & volume to taste using Live’s native EQ & limiter
(for these purposes I’m sure that’s fine)

“Channel 51” labeled “Strings” was originally created using a
different string plug-in, but it’s not available anymore, so I just
replaced it with a string patch from Kontakt 5’s factory library,
and I believe it sounds a little out of place, but better than no
string at all for demonstration sake…

I could not freeze the Uhbik-A on return channel A, however it
plays a pretty minimal part overall, so I wouldn’t worry about it
too much if you don’t have it

Made this kit today; all 808’s processed by me; kicks are layered with foley and percussion to give a unique texture. was getting tired of finding the same samples being recycled in drumkits so I made my own to hopefully spark some inspiration for whoever cops it.

*Notes*

I froze all the channels in the “Vox Widening” group, not because
they had 3rd party plug-ins on them, but because every cut there
is referencing unique, long acapella files, and upon opening the
session it can take upto 3-5 minutes for them all to load properly,
so I figured I’d just freeze them, and if you want to unfreeze
them and mess with them and see how it was done, you can, but if
not, you’re not waiting on the load time upon opening the session 🙂

There’s a FabFilter – Pro-L on the master that I can’t freeze, it’s
just boosting volume though, so if you don’t have it, no big deal,
just replace it with Live’s native “Limiter” or, you can just
listen back with your speakers turned up a little louder.

Channel 38 “Original Vocal Cuts”, inside the “Vox Widening” group
contains the original vocal cuts. Unfortunately all the acapellas
aren’t cut exactly how they originally were (not sure why, they
just somehow are referencing the wrong parts of the files now) – I
tried to re-build it as close as possible so you could see the way
I did it (kinda), but figured I’d put the original vocal stem in
there also, just to make sure if you want to know exactly how those
vocals sound on their own in the original, you can. It’s kinda cool
though, because you’re getting a VIP cut of the vox now, too
basically 😀

*Notes*

There’s a FabFilter – Pro-L on the master, unfortunately I can’t
freeze that, so if you don’t have it, the track will just play back
a little quieter than usual, but feel free to replace it with the
Live’s native “Limiter” and it’ll pretty much achieve the same thing
(it just sounds a little less transparent than Pro-L, in my opinion).

Slow Daze Psychedelic Surf Stacks

Capsun ProAudio Slow Daze Psychedelic Surf Stacks WAV

Effected guitars, vintage keyboards, and washed out production are the defining characteristics of the neo-psychedelic and jangle pop that took over the lo-fi indie rock world over the past decade. Artists like Mac DeMarco, Khruangbin, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra have defined and ushered the genre into the mainstream, providing the soundtrack to scenes of surf, skate, and other once-underground subcultures.

For this collection of sounds, Arthouse Acoustics – a collective of professional live musicians and sound creators – went deep, writing original compositions, recording live guitars, bass, vintage keys, and vocals. Then they experimented with creative processing from their studio in Brighton, UK.

These acoustic and analog recordings were chopped, processed, and re-sampled to offer truly uniques textures, layers, and melodic inspiration.
