Dylan Wissing 70s COP SHOW DRUMS Vol. 5 – The Cocktail Lounge (1976 Mix) WAV
Raw, hard hitting, gritty drums, ripped straight from the headlines (of 1976). Dylan Wissing (Eminem, Kanye, Drake) brings the vibe of all those 70s cop show themes out of the old wooden Magnavox and into your productions. Tight, dead drums with no bottom heads, groovy hats, and of course orchestral percussion.
Volume 5 “1976 Mix” is the soundtrack of the original show, pressed to vinyl, taped on VHS in the 80s, copied to cassette in the 90s. Volume 6 “Phat Mix” is the sound of the original master tapes. Put some fresh aluminum foil on the rabbit ears, crack open a can of Schlitz, and start creating. Who loves ya, baby!
Dylan Wissing exploded onto the international scene drumming on Alicia Keys’ smash hit “Girl on Fire.” His credits include drum tracks for Kanye West, Drake, John Legend, Eminem, Jay Z, Rick Ross, Fabulous, Needtobreathe and many more. Drawing from a huge collection of instruments, both cutting-edge modern and crusty vintage, Dylan creates live drum loops and samples with vibe for days from his own Triple Colossal Studios.
Jason Evigan is a musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He worked with Dua Lipa on her highly anticipated sophomore album, Future Nostalgia, where he produced and co-wrote her single “Physical” and co-wrote “Boys Will Be Boys.” He also produced and co-wrote half of the latest RUFUS DU SOL album, along with several tracks on Hobo Johnson’s album including singles “Typical Story” and “Uglykid” ft. Elohim. Other songwriting credits include co-writing and production of Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You” and “What Lovers Do,” Madonna’s “Ghosttown,” Demi Lovato’s “Heart Attack,” Jason Derulo’s three-time platinum “Talk Dirty,” and David Guetta’s “Lovers on the Sun.”
In addition to his chart success, Evigan’s music has been in three blockbuster movies. Notably, Kehlani’s platinum single “Gangsta” & Skylar Grey’s “Wreak Havoc” for the Suicide Squad Soundtrack. Also, Nick Jonas’ “Bom Didi Bom” ft. Nicki Minaj from 50 Shades Darker, as well as Kehlani’s gold single “Good Life” and Lil Yachty’s “Mamacita” from The Fate of the Furious Soundtrack.
Before his career as a writer-producer, Evigan was the lead singer of After Midnight Project. Though he came up in the alt-rock scene, his palette is expansive encompassing hip hop, R&B, pop, rock, metal, EDM, and singer-songwriter music. Recently, he and his wife formed a music duo called Elephant Heart, which pushes genre boundaries and expresses ideas of love and spirituality.
This pack is the most thoughtfully picked and arranged bouquet from the garden of Evigan’s life. You’ll find his signature sounds, custom chords and progressions to inspire new songs, synths recorded to tape machines, and more. This garden is truly varietal featuring pop, funk, and a wide variety of electronic music. There’s no way to not have fun making these unique samples your own.
Collection of 4 guitars for Kontakt that play authentic strums. Real strumming patterns with built-in chord recognizer and sequencer. It sounds real because it’s real!
Realistic guitar strums for Kontakt
Strum Guitar is a collection of four guitars where all strums were sampled both up and down stroke. The technique we used to sample these was the same that guitarists play: not all strings are struck, depending on the velocity of the hand. That’s what makes this instrument so unique.
Strum Guitar contains all major and minor chords, upstroke and downstroke, from four guitars: electric, acoustic, electric 12 string and acoustic 12 string.
Includes an intelligent built-in sequencer with chord recognition that will analyse and play the desired chords in a realistic way and with tons of extra feature to make it adapt to the needs of the song.
Strum Guitar will save you time when making a quick demo of your song, and it can also be used for a final production.
Mixer
Strum Guitar features a full mixer with which you can control the guitars separately.
With a load/purge switch for each guitar, pan, volume, mute, solo, doubler and output selector for mixing the different channels in your DAW.
Effects
In the effects page you can add any effect you want in any order.
Including EQ, compressors, modulation effects, distortion, saturation, tape machine, reverbs, amp simulators and more.
This script boosts the sonic capabilities of the library exponentially. Easy to use in a simple and intuitive design.
Sequencer
Fully featured sequencer with a wide variety of the most common guitar patterns ready to play.
We have included a chord recognizer that will trigger different chords so you’re not tied to only major or minor, but you can also play tensions like add9, 7ths and 6ths. Strum Guitar doesn’t support suspended, augmented or diminished chords.
Settings
From the settings page you can control basically any parameter you might ever need.
Includes round-robin, velocity curve shaping of the incoming MIDI notes, volumes of the fret and string noises and envelope for controlling the attack and release times.

PUNKADEMIC The Musician’s Guide to Publishing & Performing Rights TUTORIAL
Welcome to the “Musician’s Guide” Series!
This series is pulled directly from the courses I’ve created for my university position in Music Business. All of these courses are designed for the everyday musician – amateur or professional – who has little or no knowledge on the topic, but wants to master it.
This class is all about Publishing and Performing Rights. Which is to say: This class is about getting paid for your music.
It is ideal for anyone who writes music. Especially:
•Creators: If you are making music, you need to understand publishing. You are literally giving away money by not setting up publishing correctly.
•Musicians: Performing Rights Organizations pay the creators of music for their “public performance”. That means anytime something you’ve written is played (played live, or even a recording is played in a coffee shop), you get paid.
•Producers: If you are producing music, you need to understand publishing!
In this class, we start with defining “music publishing” – it is a big topic (and has nothing to do with publishing books…). Then I’ll walk you through how to set yourself up as a publisher so you can take advantage of the performing rights organizations that pay the publisher half of your earnings. I’ll walk you through every step of the process and explain the logic behind every concept.
The goal of this class is for you to start getting the money that you are owed for your music.
Genre:
Publishing has no genre – so all are welcome here.

This book explores the fascinating and intimate relationship between music and physics. Over millennia, the playing of, and listening to music have stimulated creativity and curiosity in people all around the globe. Beginning with the basics, the authors first address the tonal systems of European-type music, comparing them with those of other, distant cultures. They analyze the physical principles of common musical instruments with emphasis on sound creation and particularly charisma. Modern research on the psychology of musical perception – the field known as psychoacoustics – is also described. The sound of orchestras in concert halls is discussed, and its psychoacoustic effects are explained. Finally, the authors touch upon the role of music for our mind and society. Throughout the book, interesting stories and anecdotes give insights into the musical activities of physicists and their interaction with composers and musicians.
