Groove3 Working with Spectrasonics Sonic Extensions TUTORIAL
Virtual instrument expert Eli Krantzberg presents comprehensive video tutorials for Sonic Extensions by Spectrasonics! If you’re a fan of Omnisphere and want to add a wealth of creative options to this already expansive virtual instrument, then Sonic Extensions are for you. In this course, Eli covers the first four titles released – Undercurrent, Nylon Sky, Unclean Machine, and Seismic Shock – from the basics through more advanced tips and tricks. These videos are for new Omnisphere Sonic Extension users.
Eli welcomes you and begins by explaining what the Sonic Extensions are, what they do, and how they integrate with Omnisphere. You’ll then learn how to browse both presets and scenes within the Extensions using the handy keyboard shortcuts, along with how to mix and match the Extension sound sources and wavetables. Scenes are then covered, which are analogous to specific snapshots of a patch’s unique set of custom controls. Eli shows how to manage (save/recall/navigate) these scenes and even automate them with your DAW.
Next, you’ll begin to explore the four different Sonic Extension titles, beginning with Nylon Sky, an incredibly realistic nylon guitar virtual instrument. Check out the various upstroke/downstroke note modifiers in the Arpeggiator along with a host of other impressive parameters.
Throughout the rest of the course, you’ll explore the other three Sonic Extensions and follow along as Eli constructs various beats to show off some of the things they can do. Eli also covers the two custom-designed effects included for each Extension title with lots of demonstrative musical examples.

Tone Empire Neural Q v1.0.2 VST3 AU AAX [WIN & macOS]
Neural Q gives your music a very “analog” sounding Top-end sparkle and “heavy” bottom end seldom found in plugin equalizers.
The pre-amp section has been accurately captured from a solid-state modern pre-amp with CineMag Transformers.
What’s Neural Q ?
The future of Analog Emulation is here. This plugin faithfully captures the dynamic behavior and sound of a well-known Vintage German Equalizer and a modern Solid State Pre-Amp featuring cinemag transformers.
Push the parameters to the limits and be “stunned” by the results.
Circuit Modelling is a technology of the past and can never produce as authentic an analog emulation as RNN (Recurrent Neural Networks).
Our new applications based on AI technologies, literally train a model and parameters of an analog device by feeding it samples of real music material. We train the system with vocals, drums, guitars, full mixes, and other instruments phrases.
The Neural Network then creates a model based on weights by replicating the “effect” of the analog gear on the sound. This results in more accurate analog behavior.

Polly-Louisa Salmon is a British pop singer known by her stage name GFOTY, an abbreviation of Girlfriend of the Year. From 2014-2018 she has released music through the PC Music label. She made her independent debut in 2018 with the release of her single Boy Next Door. Much of her best-known work has been in the form of mini-mixes.
Polly-Louisa doesn’t like labeling her music by genre or style. It’s an amalgamation of her tastes and listening habits. She told us, “My music is quite literally based on a real algorithm of whatever I’m into at the time and what’s going on in my head. I listen to mostly dad-style rock like Squeeze, Supertramp, and Madness, and also 2005 era British indie music with a dose of ABBA, Queen, and Nirvana, but when I go out, I’ll listen to Scooter or Pitbull while I get ready. I think that element mixed with the embarrassing mixture of music I listen to daily must somehow create my own little version of hyperpop which you’d hear in my music.”

The Persian Essentials serie exposes the hidden sounds of ancient Persian music. Musical development in Iran dates back thousands of years, expanding through various neighboring cultures, making it one of the richest and most influential musical regions of the old world.
In this pack, we present three fundamental traditional string instruments:
Tar (Persian: تار) – from the lute family, is an Iranian long-necked instrument widely used in various regions, including the Iranian Plateau, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and others near the Caucasus and Central Asia regions. The original name of the tār is čāhārtār or čārtār, meaning “four string” in Persian.
Santur – Iconic to ancient Persia, the Santur is a percussion-stringed instrument that consists of strings typically stretched over a trapezoidal resonant soundboard. The hammered dulcimer is set before the musician, who, in more traditional styles, may sit cross-legged on the floor, or in a more modern style may stand or sit at a wooden support with legs. The player holds a small spoon-shaped mallet hammer in each hand to strike the strings.
Shurangiz (Persian: شورانگیز) – Based on the setar, the Shurangiz Is a relatively modern instrument developed in the 20th century. Its name means “tumult-exciting”. It differs from the setar by the skin it has as part of the soundboard and in the number of strings. It has a unique sound table consisting of a wooden panel suspended in the center of a membranous outer section, six strings, a longer finer fingerboard, and an increased number of frets compared with its original prototype setar.
The musicians who played on this pack are Eitan Refua and Yaron Cherniak.
