MOBILIS II is the second installment in the MOBILIS series. Like the first MOBILIS, it is a Kontakt instrument envisioned with speed and power in mind.
This instrument is about having a large number of simple but carefully crafted percussion loops and single hits that:
MOBILIS II takes a more organic approach than MOBILIS. We recorded studio percussionists José María Piedra and Horacio París performing on a large amount of ethnic percussion instruments, and we incorporated a huge number of found sounds, specifically recorded for this instrument.

Batch xFader is designed to accomplish the tedious work involved making sampler instruments out of samples.
This process generally involves:
Batch xFader can accomplish all of these tasks as a batch process on the selected folder of WAVs very quickly. It supports x64 Windows and is a Mac Universal Binary & so natively supports both Silicon and Intel Macs.
THE SAMPLE LOOP
The embedded sustain loop is a region that plays until the sound is released/faded out and it’s essential for making sure that held notes still play after the audio data has finished. If you use MPC/Beats to suto sample, this loop region can be embedded automatically. Batch xFader can either use this loop or replace it with a new one based on percentages.
This loop section will sound unnatural & glitchy when it loops without some kind of processing. Some samplers do offer real-time cross fading to solve this problem, but if this is done permanently to the file it means the sample will always work with every sampler. Batch xFader uses an equal power method of cross fading which sounds very natural without the volume drops of Linear cross fading.
Cross fades use data from before the loop section starts and fades it in at the back end of the loop to achieve the natural loop, so it’s important to have enough audio before the loop for this. The cross fade amount is set using the slider & the graphical display shows this area and the fade section in red.
START TRIM
Generally when recording on computers there is some sound card latency which introduces a small delay at the start of the files. You can use a sample editor to find out the size of this in samples and use this box to enter that number. Batch xFader will then trim that amount of samples from the start of each sample. You may not need the front section at all after the loop is calculated and so selecting ‘ALL’ will trim the entire front section excluding any fade in time.
FADE IN
When a sample doesn’t start on a zero crossing it produces a click. Whilst it’s possible to use an envelope attack in a sampler to hide this, this option allows creating a short fade in to permanently avoid any clicks. This value is in samples and usually 100-1000 is enough.
REMOVE POST LOOP
Usually the data after the sustain loop isn’t required as the sustain loop plays until fade (unless there is a specific release loop in the sample), and so this option allows deleting all data after the loop.
CONVERT TO MONO
If for example you have recorded a mono instrument using MPC/Beats auto sampler, it always records in stereo. This option allows taking the 1st channel only and converting it to mono. This option is carried out before any other processing so it saves time too.
PROCESS
In the Process section you select the Source Folder which contains the samples you wish to process. Note that Batch xFader does not write over your original samples, all samples are saved within the ‘EXPORT NAME’ sub folder which will be created if it does not exist.
As well as the ability to export at the original Bit Depth/Samplerate, there is also the ability to export additional formats in case you want to support specific samplers that only use this samplerate etc… For example Elektron devices use 48khz, whilst MPCs use 44.1k.
When ready, click process and all files will be processed using the settings.
MISC TIPS
– Every task in Batch xFader is intentionally optional so it can be used as a Batch Processor for each of the tasks individually, so for example you could use it to delete latency or perform de-click fade-ins etc…
– With complex audio material you will get better results with a large xFade region.
– Process will overwrite all the files created by the previous process, in case you want to make changes. You can always change the EXPORT NAME to something new if you want to keep the previous export.
– The Loop & cross fade settings are percentages of the file because the folder could contain different sizes of file, so it’s far more sensible to use parameters that are percentages of each file rather than in samples.
– When selecting loop size, make sure that the end portion accounts for any space at the end which may exist, for example if auto sampling the files may have a release section recorded. In fact when auto sampling it’s best to keep the release section as short as possible as far as Batch xFader is concerned.
– If you are planning on processing a large folder, create a temp folder with just a few samples in it and test your settings to save having to process them all each time.
Antoka is a bit crusher, foldover resampler and AM/FM crossfader that completely annihilates anything you throw at it.
Inspired by legendary guitar pedals that employ ring modulation, envelope following and distortion, Antoka was designed to bring a wealth of tonal capabilities to your session. Dial up extreme bit crushing effects for complete destruction or trim some subtle AM overtones.
Antoka has a gain detection and envelope that follows the input signal. This means it will apply a bit crushing envelope over a period of time for each new amplitude trigger. Throw that on top of an LFO, an amplitude modulation / frequency modulation crossfader and you have a huge tool box of sound design possibilities.

Arkinaut is a fictitious electroacoustic instrument, inspired by ancient sounds and materials (zither, wood stone, glass and crystal), while employing modern synthesis techniques. It excels at producing timbres ranging from plucked and bowed strings to mallets and more. It was designed to create percussive and bowed articulations combined with idiophone transients and synthesizer modulations.
With an array of controls to set resonator type, transient characteristics, timbre tone and vibrational material, Arkinaut lets you sculpt a vibrating string instrument tailored to your taste. Choose from “Metal”, “Wood” or “Elastic” resonators and use the “Mallet” to add struck bar transients such as those found in a vibraphone or marimba.
Arkinaut’s internal workings employ Karplus-Strong algorithms fed into a soft overdrive. An optional ring modulator provides augmented and chaotic tone design that can create a wide palette of timbres. The final stage of the signal passes through a Moog-style low pass filter and a fixed delay “doubling” module that simulates string loosening.

Coil is an analog warping effect, a sample decimator, phaser and more.
Coil was originally designed to be a glitch driven distortion effect – a probabilistic device that emulates degradation in digital and analog systems. Building on that concept, Puremagnetik has developed Coil as a simple, fun, useful toolbox for giving your audio some welcomed mistakes. It includes algorithms for augmenting your sounds with tape warp, bit and sample rate reduction, phase cancellation, filtering and more, all contained within six simple macro controls.

Flare is a spectral ensemble effect based on the bucket-brigade delay line. It combines a waveshaper, multi-tap delay and tremolo into a simple musical tool with a ton of features under the hood. Dial in a dreamy chorus reminiscent of classic string machines, a Chebyshev style waveshaping distortion, auto-tremolo, spectral blurring and more.
The first processing stage is routed through a Chebyshev waveshaper that creates rich harmonics and distortion. Post-waveshaper, the affected signal can be easily tapered with SWEEP – a filter modeled after the Moog diode lowpass.
The audio signal’s adventures have only started though! Next begins the time and space warp paradigm. DEPTH controls a bucket-brigade ensemble effect while BLUR brings smearing across the spectral domain. Space and acousmatic modulators also include REVOLVE, DELAY and SHAKE – panning, echo and tremolo effects, respectively.
Flare can do a lot of things with minimal UI controls. Tap into its versatility and pull musical things out of your sounds that you never knew were there.

Portatron Tape Synthesizer
Get all the mojo from a 4-track cassette recorder, right in your project! From the instant lofi sound with tape saturation, noise and wobble, to breathing new life into your samples!
Play tape loops that either follow your DAW’s transport, or play them like a monophonic Mellotron from your keyboard. Build a complete soundscape by mixing four tracks with the built-in EQ, delay and reverb.
Full lofi control
We have carefully modeled and recreated the cassette sound, giving you full control over individual aspects like Tape Speed, Noise, Dropouts, Wobble and start/stop Lag. Switch between Normal or Chrome tape for different noise types and frequency response. And pushing Drive on a track recreates the saturation and compression you get when recording a signal hot to tape.
Layer your samples
Build tape loops by combining your favorite samples in new ways, or use one of the hundreds of samples included in the sound Library as a starting point. We recorded a bunch of instruments like piano, vibraphone, vocals, and synths, and also included stuff like hydrophones and shortwave radio. With the same wobble and other tape effects across all tracks, the samples gel together creating a unique sound.
Drone, looper, or instrument
Portatron can be played in many ways. You can let it play along with your DAW transport, instantly creating a drone to your project. By letting it restart on each, second, or fourth bar creates a semi-synced loop which works great for ambient samples. Or just play it like a 4-track monophonic Mellotron from your MIDI keyboard, which works great for quirky leads with vocal samples.

The unique kalimba sampled virtual instrument
Multi layered sampling in 24 bits using highest quality preamps with ultra low noise gave it a super realistic sound.
In this plugin the zanza do have resonant box as opposed to kalimba which does not. Also zanza has the buzzing piece of sheet metal on every playing rod. This creates subtle, high pitched buzzing. The kalimba has more mellow and clean sounds and they complement each other perfectly together.
