For nearly three hours, watch as DJ and producer Jon Sine takes you through his production process from start to finish.
Jon Sine, a German DJ and producer with Israeli roots, is taking his multi-faceted melodic house beyond the realms of the dance floor. He combines club music with elements from various musical genres to create a distinctive style of his own, which ranges from emotional and sensual to thrilling and euphoric.
Initially, Jon was drawn to DJing by his intense passion for discovering and sharing new music. After three years behind the decks, Jon wanted to not only play music, but to create it as well. He began to produce music which he would test in his sets. After a short time, he noticed the excitement his music created on the dance floor, which soon led to his first official releases.

D.A.V.E. The Drummer: The TB-303 Demystified TUTORIAL
If you’re a fan of the classic Techno bass sound of the legendary Roland TB-303 this is the course for you! Esteemed techno DJ and producer D.A.V.E. The Drummer takes you on a 4-hour tour of both hardware and software versions of the 303, explaining how to get that classic bassline sound for your own tracks.
So don’t worry, you won’t need the original hardware (unless you’ve got a few grand to spare!!) as this course covers software alternatives too, including the Roland Cloud version of the TB-303.
In the course, D.A.V.E. explores the following instruments:
Roland TB-303 Original + Devil Fish mod (hardware)
Roland TB-03 (hardware)
Behringer TD-03 (hardware)
Cyclone Bass Bot (hardware)
AudioRealism Bass Line 3 (software)
Roland Cloud TB-303 (software)
And not only do you get a full explanation of each piece of gear, he also covers programming patterns, audio processing and performance tips & tricks.
Hailing from the illegal warehouse party scene that exploded in London during the 1990’s, DJ & producer Henry Cullen (aka D.A.V.E. The Drummer) started techno label Hydraulix as an outlet for his own musical ideas. The label intended to bridge the gap between the Acid Techno of his previous work and the new, darker sound that D.A.V.E. was experimenting with in the studio.
D.A.V.E.’s more recent work reflects a shift toward a darker, more stripped-back techno sound. The label remains at the forefront of the techno scene, winning respect from DJs around the world and constantly taking on fresh young artists and releasing tracks by seasoned Hydraulix regulars.
Still a busy DJ and producer, D.A.V.E. has released numerous remixes and originals for labels including Fine Audio, Noom, Reklusive, Naked Lunch, Phobiq, Elektrax, Techburst and of course Hydraulix, Apex and Mutate To Survive.
This is as comprehensive an exploration of the 303 range of hardware and software as you can find, guided by someone whose passion for the classics reverberates throughout the course’s duration.

Groove3 Referencing with Metric AB Explained TUTORIAL
Referencing professional recordings has been a common practice in studios for a while, as it offers you the chance to see how your tracks stand up against the pros. While your ears are certainly an integral tool in this regard, there are numerous plugins that can be extremely helpful as well, especially if you’re new to the idea. In this course, studio expert Larry Holcombe takes a deep dive into Metric AB, a high-powered, full-featured reference plugin from ADPTR Audio that can help you produce better-sounding tracks and improve your mixes. These Metric AB videos are for new Metric AB users.
Larry kicks off the course with a brief overview of Metric AB and its capabilities before giving you a tour of the interface and explaining the basic workflow. Then it’s down to business, and first you’ll learn about the playback modes and how to sync the reference tracks in various ways, such as enabling Metric AB to sync with your DAW’s transport so you can alternate between two different versions of the same track. Then explore cues and loops, which let you choose precisely which portion of the reference track we’d like to compare with ours.
Next up, learn how to match the volumes of several reference tracks and introduce filters to examine specific frequency ranges in detail. Explore the Spectrum view and its various parameters as well as the Correlation view, which tells you whether or not your track has phase issues across the frequency spectrum.
Other topics covered include the Stereo Image view (a real-time frequency spectrum breakdown), Dynamics module (measure dynamics against a reference point), loudness (measuring against the various standards and other uses), output meters, and more. Larry closes out with several practical videos aimed at uses for Metric AB in your workflow, pitfalls to avoid when working with the plugin, and some common audio issues that Metric AB can help with.
Metric AB can help you transform your mixes and also learn how to recognize these issues on your own. This Metric AB tutorial course will help you master it quickly and show you how to employ it in your production workflow with astounding results. Check out the individual descriptions below for more information on each Metric AB video.
