Splice Originals Amor Tumbado WAV
This pack is named for the song “Amor Tumabdo” (directly translated to “love lying”) by Natanael Cano, who created corridos tumbados—songs that combine the traditional songs of Mexico and the lyrics of trap and hip hop music. Producer Erick Bardeles, however, found inspiration in the HBO series “Vgly” when crafting this pack. He shared, “These sounds are my version of how each scene and season should have sounded. This pack is heavily influenced by how far trap music has seeped into the Latin world. You’ll find a bit of everything—cold eerie melodies, soulful warm chords, and hard-hitting drums.”
This pack was made using Arturia Analog Lab, Prophet 5, Mellotron Mini, The Prince, and some Taylor electric and acoustic guitars. Erick sampled his vocals by recording the samples back into the mic to get the room sound and create more texture.
